INFRASTRUCTURE UPDATE This is going to be a busy summer and fall for our infrastructure program. This summer we will be starting and finishing the re-paving of Seymour Avenue. This fall we will be starting two projects. The first project will be the re-paving of Randolph Road from Cleveland Avenue east to the Village limits. The project will be paid for by a grant that we received from the the federal recovery and stimulus act. The Randolph Road project should be completed by late fall. The other infrastructure job to begin in the fall will be Virgil, Eleanor and Charles Streets. The Village has been able to obtain over $1,000,000 in grant money to help fund this project. This project will be completed in the spring of 2012. The Village continues to work hard for the residents to obtain the maximum we can in grant monies to help complete our infrastructure program. The next area we are looking at for 2012 is Highland Avenue. |
